As the name suggests, this unique establishment provides an eclectic dining experience. The restaurant, located in a 13th century friary, provides a casually elegant ambience. The interior is somewhat offbeat with a wide variety of historic memorabilia, including posters of James Dean and various strategically placed gas masks. Menu selections include a number of typical English dishes such as the ploughman's meal, pastries that are hot from the oven, and fresh sandwiches. Daily specials are listed on the chalkboard. The service is accommodating and attentive.
